Restoration of your treasured clubs is possible. Louisville Golf, the world’s leading authority on wood golf clubs for nearly four decades, has unparalleled experience working with Persimmon woods and Hickory-shafted golf clubs. Whether it is a Louisville Golf Persimmon wood or handmade mallet putter, or a classic wood you would like to see returned to its original luster, our craftsmen will restore your cherished golf club to a like-new condition. Many clubs are evaluated on a case by case basis with pricing for the most requested services below.
To initiate your repair send the club (or clubs) to the address below. Be sure to include a detailed note with contact information. We will then receive the club and contact you about the work to be done. At this point you can submit a credit card for payment once a total has been agreed upon based on the work you would like to perform.
Repairs can take up to 3 to 4 weeks based on the time of year and the work we have in house. Average turnaround is 2 weeks. Return shipping for one golf clubs is $14 via UPS Ground and is increased by $3 for each club we ship back. Persimmon wood refinish includes the following:
-removal of old finish
-sanding of head to remove dents and scratches
-swing weight checked
-loose soleplate reset
-loose insert reset
-face filed smooth (gouges in face filled)
-stain and filler applied
-four clear coats applied
-new whipping applied to hosel
Please note:
- stampings on the club may be reduced or removed during sanding
- most original decals are no longer available and cannot be replaced
