The THUMPER Max driver, our most popular, is made to look even larger with a more shallow head shape. Weight is removed from the crown of the head to improve trajectory by redistributing weight adding stability and accuracy. The THUMPER Max drivers has a larger sweet spot which provides greater forgiveness on mis-hits. To promote distance, the larger head appearance of the THUMPER MAX sits on a 300cc chassis and is visually larger and more proportionate with longer and lighter shafts, which is the real key to greater distance.



The cycolac insert, combined with the new cycolac abbreviated soleplate, gives the golfer a more consistent feel at impact. The THUMPER MAX is also laser engraved with a new scoring pattern which adds to its unique aesthetics.

THE THUMPER MAX HAS MORE GEAR EFFECT! All Louisville Golf Persimmon drivers have more Gear Effect than metal drivers; this makes them more accurate. Gear effect is the self-imparting spin that is put on the ball when hit on the heel or toe - balls hit on the heel or toe of a Persimmon driver, due to its roll and bulge and deeper COG, will move back online toward the target and have a tighter dispersion.



Persimmon drivers have tighter dispersion and thus are more accurate than titanium metal drivers.
