Our Hickory-shafted woods are the most playable Hickory-shafted clubs available today. We are very careful to replicate the look and feel of the original Hickory-shafted woods used in the early days (Rubber Ball period) of the game, from roughly 1900 to 1930.



We use authentic U.S.A. Persimmon, a premium Hickory shaft that is shaped and finished by hand, and a genuine leather wrap grip. The Gilsonite stain used on the shaft and the pitched linen whipping is authentic to the period. Finished with a Fancy-Face insert and hand-scored, these Hickory-shafted woods are completely playable with the modern golf ball.
