I sent about a dozen 30-year old persimmon and laminated woods to Louisville Golf, a few at a time, for repair and refinish. They typically come back looking new. The finish is particularly glossy and strong.
I had two particular clubs, the Palmer P31 and Palmer P33, refinished in different tones. They are now too pretty to hit.
I've also made a few special requests (e.g., adding weight, changing loft and face angles to a couple of drivers). Again, the work is quite good. I don't know who else could do this.
The TWP clubs are solid. I bought two drivers with two different shafts. They'll let you know when you're on your game (and when you are off). They set up beautifully.
To a certain extent, Louisville Golf has re-invigorated my love for the game. I no longer have to play balloon-sized metal drivers that offer no feedback. Now, a 260 yard drive has meaning. And if you catch one of those TWP drivers on the screws (literally) with a hard draw, and it lands on firm turf, it will roll forever.
